Small Stone #10

The world is full of strangeness.

I exit the elevator on the 4th floor. A shopping cart stands in the corridor. Alone. Empty. Unmarked.

An absurdist indictment of hyper-consumerism? Performance art? A dimensional rift?

The world is full of strangeness.

  2. Personally, I vote for a dimensional rift. I hope the rift isn't too close to your door. Just sayin'...

    1. The actual explanation turned out to be far more mundane. But I'm still holding out for the rift. :)

  3. What a vivid image Kevin! So many story possibilities in this one. I just learned about small stones about a week ago and though I have been recording one each day I've not yet posted any. Maybe I should do that soon. Thanks for sharing yours!

    1. Thanks, Deanna. I only learned about this year's small stones a couple of weeks back. Whatever brain storm took me, I signed up for it just as I began a move to Kansas City, MO from the San Francisco Bay Area.

      Madness, I tell you. :)

  4. It is obviously a dimensional rift. Careful where you step.
