Writing keeps me awake - that's as much as one can ask
Yeah, places that keep their name of old are often hilarious. :) Makes me wonder what people 200 yrs from now will think of the names we pick.
I agree, Laura. There's a set of streets, one leading into the other, in Dublin: Earl St., Henry, St., Thomas St.All named, I discovered one day, for Earl Henry Thomas. Of course, I've been on the Santa Fe Trail — there's a portion of it, still so named, here in Kansas City.As to what will be made of more recent street names in the future, who knows?
